Baker Studios no element of a church is too small to be treated with reverence. We recently completed the design and installation of a custom Oils Ambry and Paschal Candle base, and while these may seem like small liturgical furnishings, their significance — and our commitment to them — is anything but.
These pieces were carefully designed to harmonize with the architecture of the space while elevating the symbolism they carry. The Oils Ambry, which holds the sacred chrism and oils used in sacraments, was crafted to reflect both dignity and accessibility. The Paschal Candle base was designed with clean lines and sturdy beauty, anchoring the light of Christ as a focal point in the liturgy.

It’s rare for an architecture studio to handle liturgical furnishings in-house, but for us, it’s part of how we honor the sacred. Our work doesn’t stop at design — it continues until everything is in its rightful place, ready to serve the Church. But here’s what makes our process different: we don’t just design these pieces — we build them, deliver them, and install them ourselves. Every step, from the initial concept sketches to the final placement in the sanctuary, is handled by our team. This ensures total continuity between vision and execution — no hand-offs, no surprises.
